Nuad Thai
The term "Nuad Thai" means the authentic form of traditional Thai Massage, which has been practiced for centuries. Dr Shivago Komarpaj (Jivaka Komarabhacca) is believed to have been the founder of Nuad Thai, who in the Pali Buddhist Canon is said to have been the Buddha's physician over 2500 years ago. Since Shivago's times the art was perfected by Thai Buddhist monks working on each other, as part of their spiritual development.
